These are the beautiful Colobus Monkeys.
The ones below that have longer, scruffier hair are the Angolan Colobus from Diani Beach. They look somewhat sad, the locals say it’s because they are aware of the human development taking place, removing their forests. The main road in Diani beach has massively fragmented their habitat (there has been 75% tree loss in the last 25 years) it’s estimated there are only 240 individuals left.
On a positive note there are some fantastic people working to protect them with various conservation interventions including monkey landers, tree planting and encouraging land owners to keep native woodland.
The second are Mantled guereza colobus monkeys from lake Naivasha, they are a little happier and incredibly funny to watch, but also rather rare to see.
Basically to help these dudes and lots of other tree loving species, don’t cut down trees.
